Rangers boss Ally McCoist has told the club's detractors to enjoy the club's misery while they have the chance.

A 2-1 defeat to Hearts condemned the Gers to their third home loss on the spin, capping what has been a miserable couple of weeks.

The threat of a mass exodus of players also looms large, with reports of up to eight players having to be culled to meet the administrator's financial demands.

However, McCoist said that the club will not be down in the dumps for very long and that everyone is working to save the Ibrox outfit.

"At this moment in time we are wounded - there is no doubt about it," said McCoist. "There are probably one or two people out there enjoying it, maybe one or two people having a wee fly kick.

"I would suggest to them to give a right good kick just now because we will not be where we are for long."

The former striker also promised the Rangers faithful that the club will pull itself out of the financial mire.

"I am absolutely 100% confident that our football club will continue," he added. "I'm not sure yet what way, shape or form it will continue but our football club will continue."

McCoist took charge at Rangers after Walter Smith's departure last year.
