Mauricio Pochettino: 'It was a good win'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino praises his side as they end their tour of the US with a 2-0 win against the Chicago Fire.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he was pleased as his side ended their pre-season tour of the US with a convincing 2-0 victory against the Chicago Fire.

Goals from Harry Kane and Aaron Lennon handed Spurs the win, meaning that they ended their tour unbeaten after overcoming Toronto FC and drawing against the Seattle Sounders in their first two matches.

Pochettino told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased for the players because we've finished with a good win, a clean sheet and that's a boost for the confidence.

"It was tough in the humidity but congratulations to the players, it was a good performance."

Tottenham face West Ham United in their Premier League opener on August 16.
