Andy Murray has chosen to focus on the positive following his doubles defeat alongside Colin Fleming at the Rogers Cup.

The Scottish duo were beaten in straight sets by Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares, but the British number one was pleased to have regained match fitness.

"In terms of returning to sharpness up at the net, it's perfect. I'm disappointed we lost but for certain things it helps a lot," ESPN quotes the Wimbledon champion as saying.

Murray crashed out of the singles event at the tournament earlier this week at the hands of Latvian Ernests Gulbis.
