AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has said that his side are confident of securing a place in the Europa League this season.
The Rossoneri are currently eighth in the Serie A table, but are just three points behind Parma, who occupy the final qualifying spot.
"The results are important and the good work done by the team has brought us out of a negative period. Now we want to extend our winning streak," Seedorf told reporters.
"We didn't play well against Catania and these are things that can happen. The team played with the right spirit though and Catania are a better team than their league position suggests.
"We're pushing for a place in the Europa League but as sportsmen we always want to go further."
Milan will be looking to extend their four-game winning run in the league when they welcome Livorno to the San Siro on Saturday.
