Ajax head coach Frank de Boer has admitted that Christian Eriksen would perform well in the Bundesliga.
Eriksen impressed this season as Ajax stormed to the Eredivisie title but the attacking midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Netherlands at the end of this season.
De Boer told reporters: "If clubs do not show up, then they don't have any intelligence.
"If I was called, then I wouldn't tell it to you. But Chris would suit well in Germany."
Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund are reported to be interested in the 21-year-old.
