Manuel Lanzini "absolutely delighted" with move to West Ham United

Argentine attacker Manuel Lanzini reveals his 'delight' after signing a four-year contract with West Ham United, having been on loan with the Premier League club.

Manuel Lanzini has revealed his 'delight' after officially signing a four-year contract with West Ham United, having initially been on loan with the London outfit.

The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on a season-long loan from Al Jazira Club last summer and has impressed during his time in the Premier League - hitting five goals in 18 appearances.

Earlier this week, West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan confirmed that the loan move had been made permanent, and now Lanzini has had his say on the transfer.

"I am absolutely delighted to have signed and to be able to stay at this club. I really feel at home here, and when you feel at home somewhere, you definitely don't want to leave," Lanzini told West Ham's official website.

"I am very happy and now what I want to do is to keep giving the best of myself. We've already done very well, and it's already been a very good season, and when you're so close to achieving your objectives, of course you want to keep dreaming.

"I always had big dreams as a child, but you never know what the future is going to hold. Thanks to God, I'm here, I'm enjoying the city, I'm enjoying the people and I really see my future here."

Lanzini is believed to have cost West Ham just under £9.5m.
