Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is set to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season through injury.

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is reportedly set to miss the final two games of the 2022-23 season.

Zaha recently returned from a spell on the sidelines to feature in Palace's last three Premier League matches, including Saturday's 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

However, the attacker only lasted 51 minutes against the Cherries before he was forced off with a hamstring issue.

Speaking after the game, Palace boss Roy Hodgson said: "Zaha felt his hamstring which is worrying, but we won't know how serious until he has the scan. Hopefully, it will only take a few days rather than a couple of weeks."

According to Daily Mail, Zaha underwent a scan on Monday, and the results have indicated that his injury will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Zaha will miss Saturday's away meeting with Fulham and a home game against Nottingham Forest on the final day of the season.

The Ivory Coast international will finish the 2022-23 campaign with seven goals and three assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.

There is also the possibility that Zaha has played his last game for the Eagles, with his contract set to expire in June.

Palace are keen to retain the services of one of their greatest players, and they have allegedly offered him a new deal worth £200,000 a week.

Zaha is yet to make a decision on his future and will take time to decide his next steps before committing to a new Palace contract or moving on to a fresh challenge.

Arsenal, who have previously tried to sign Zaha, are reportedly keen to sign the 30-year-old on a free transfer this summer.

Chelsea and Marseille have been mooted as potential destinations, while Zaha has also been linked with a move to the Middle East.

During two spells with the Eagles, Zaha has scored 90 goals and provided 76 assists in 458 competitive appearances.
