Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly loan out young full-back Carl Jenkinson next season as he wants the England international to gain more experience.
The People claims that the 22-year-old is attracting interest from Newcastle United, who expect to lose incumbent right-back Mathieu Debuchy to Paris Saint-Germain next season.
However, the Magpies are said to be facing stiff competition for the Arsenal defender's services with West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce also registering an interest in Jenkinson.
Despite the possibility of first-choice full-back Bacary Sagna leaving the club in the summer, Wenger is reported to still be keen on loaning out Jenkinson, no matter what the outcome of contract talks with the French international is.
Jenkinson was a substitute in the Gunners' 6-0 defeat at Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
