Mikel Arteta calls for Arsenal consistency

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta is eager for his side to improve their consistency following Saturday's 2-0 victory away to Sunderland.

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has called on his teammates to improve their consistency following Saturday's victory over Sunderland.

The Gunners ended their three-match winless run in the Premier League as they triumphed 2-0 at the Stadium of Light.

Arteta now wants his side to start putting a string of positive results together in order to climb further up the table.

"We need to be consistent now and get the points because you know how difficult it is," he told the club's official website. "You look at Manchester City dropping points, you look at Liverpool dropping points and that tells you how difficult this league has become."

Arsenal are back in action this Saturday when they host Burnley in the league.
