Francis Coquelin: 'Thierry Henry is wrong about Olivier Giroud'

Francis Coquelin says that Thierry Henry is wrong to suggest that Olivier Giroud is not good enough for Arsenal.

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has said that Olivier Giroud is good enough to lead the club to the Premier League title.

Following their goalless draw with Chelsea at the weekend, Giroud was criticised by former Gunner Thierry Henry for not being a top-quality striker.

However, Coquelin has hit back at Henry and believes that the striker has consistently proven his worth to the Londoners.

"Thierry Henry is wrong," Coquelin told RMC. "Giroud shows his potential every week.

"He showed that he has the level to be the Arsenal striker, and we can win titles with him."

Giroud has scored 18 goals for Arsenal this season.
