Aaron Ramsey targets victory against Belgium

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey is aiming to silence taunts from his Arsenal teammate Thomas Vermaelen when his country take on Belgium tomorrow evening.

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey is aiming to silence taunts from his Arsenal teammate Thomas Vermaelen when his country take on Belgium tomorrow evening.

The national teams meet at the Cardiff City Stadium in the qualifying round of World Cup 2014, and the midfielder has been engaging in some pre-game banter with his fellow Gunner.

"It has been going on for a few months now," Ramsey told Sky Sports News.

"We all know the quality they have, a lot of their players have established themselves in the Premier League and started the season well.

"Obviously [Vermaelen] has been giving me a bit of banter over the last few weeks, which I won't repeat, but we are looking forward to it and we are confident in our own abilities, we have some very good players in our squad as well."

Wales and Belgium are in Group A along with Scotland, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia.
