Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is reportedly expected to miss this weekend's Premier League bout against Norwich City and the Gunners' Champions League match against Schalke 04 with a bruised lung.

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will reportedly be absent for the Gunners' Premier League clash against Norwich City this weekend.

The 23-year-old was forced to spend the night in hospital after suffering a bruised lung during England's 5-0 win over San Marino last Friday.

While the Three Lions international is expected to be missing from Arsenal's squad this weekend, the winger is also likely to be sidelined for the North London club's meeting with Schalke 04 in the Champions League group stage next Wednesday, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that Walcott could be fit to face Queens Park Rangers the following weekend.
