Arsene Wenger pleased by Arsenal away winning streak

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger expresses his delight at the club's seven-match winning streak away from home as they prepare to travel to Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has earmarked this afternoon's Premier League match against Manchester United as a chance to show how his side have made progress away from home recently.

The Gunners are on a seven-match winning streak on the road in all competitions and will secure a top-three Premier League finish if they make it eight today.

"Since January we have produced consistent performances and we have also been very strong away from home, and again on Sunday we have an opportunity to show that we have made progress," PA quotes Wenger as saying.

Arsenal have not been victorious at Old Trafford in the league since September 2006 - a run of seven games without a win. However, they did win their last match at United in the FA Cup in March.
