How Arsenal could line up against Everton

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Everton at Goodison Park.

Arsenal will be seeking a first win in seven Premier League matches when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday evening.

The Gunners have lost four and drawn two of their last six top-flight games and are 10 points off the top four with a third of the season played.

Mikel Arteta is under intense pressure as he closes in on his first-year anniversary since being appointed, but Arsenal have failed to score on their last two visits to Everton.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the North London outfit could line up for their trip to Merseyside.

Arsenal had a player sent off in the Premier League for the seventh time since Arteta's first game last Boxing Day as Gabriel Magalhaes saw red in the 1-1 draw with Southampton.

Granit Xhaka is also serving a suspension, while Thomas Partey is out with a muscle injury and Gabriel Martinelli is unlikely to make his return just yet.

Arteta has Hector Bellerin back from his own one-match ban, but the full-back has struggled for form this term and may have to wait for a recall.

Elsewhere, Alexandre Lacazette was benched against Southampton but will be hopeful of ousting Eddie Nketiah, though the young striker did assist a goal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Wednesday.

Aubameyang has scored four goals in his four Premier League starts against Everton, though all of those goals have come at the Emirates Stadium.
