Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is looking to bring in a striker during this summer's transfer window.
The Gunners will be without the injured Danny Welbeck for the start of the new season, while Olivier Giroud is yet to return for pre-season training having been given an extended break after Euro 2016.
Arsenal's only major summer signing so far has been Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach, but Wenger is hoping to add to his sparse attacking options in the coming weeks.
"At the moment I have not too many attacking options in terms of experienced players," he told reporters.
"Let's not forget we still have a few players at home, so we have options but we still look outside for one more."
Arsenal recently had a bid rejected for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who club president Jean-Michel Aulas does not expect to leave the Ligue 1 outfit this summer.
