Arsenal are close to signing Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic on loan, according to reports in Italy.
The 30-year-old was expected to move to Serie A rivals Inter Milan in a swap deal that included Fredy Guarin, but the deal fell through on Wednesday, which has paved the way for the Gunners to make their move.
According to Tuttosport, the Montenegro captain is due to fly to London on Thursday to undergo a medical with the Premier League club.
If the medical is successful, the frontman could sign a six-month loan deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Vucinic joined Juventus from Roma in August 2011.
