Arsenal have reportedly identified Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout as a potential summer signing.
The Gunners are currently well stocked for players who can feature in the centre of the pitch, but Aaron Ramsey has already agreed to join Juventus at the end of the season.
That has left Unai Emery needing to find a replacement, and according to Le Foot, the Spaniard holds an interest in Veretout.
The Frenchman is no stranger to English football, having endured a disappointing spell with Aston Villa during the 2015-16 campaign, with 25 appearances being made in the Premier League.
However, the 26-year-old has netted 13 times from 63 outings for Fiorentina in Serie A, and the Italian side may be open to make a substantial profit on the player.
Veretout cost just £6m in 2017, but Fiorentina would likely demand in excess of €25m (£21.55m) if Arsenal make their move in the coming months.
