Arsenal have reportedly decided to contemplate meeting the release clause of Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay.
Unai Emery will need to secure a replacement for Aaron Ramsey during the summer transfer window, but the Spaniard's budget is dependent on whether the Gunners qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, according to The Express, Arsenal may be prepared to secure the signature of Demirbay regardless of whether they earn a spot in European football's premier competition.
The report claims that the 25-year-old is available for just £22m, a fee which would be regarded as value for money by the North London outfit's hierarchy.
Demirbay has contributed four goals and eight assists from 27 outings in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.
