Arsenal could reportedly now fail to land Barcelona attacker Denis Suarez this month.

Arsenal could reportedly fail to land Barcelona attacker Denis Suarez this month, with the Catalan giants considering altering their stance on the unsettled Spaniard.

Suarez, 25, has only played 17 minutes of La Liga football for Barcelona during the 2018-19 campaign and has been widely tipped to leave Camp Nou at the mid-point of the season.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently claimed that Arsenal were on the brink of bringing the versatile midfielder to the Emirates Stadium.

However, according to The Mirror, Barcelona have informed the Gunners that they no longer want to lose Suarez in this month's transfer window.

Suarez, who scored three times in 27 appearances for Barcelona last season, will see his contract at Camp Nou expire at the end of the 2019-2020 campaign.
