The mother of Arsenal forward Robin van Persie believes that her son should stay with the Gunners this summer.
Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have all been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, whose current contract expires in 12 months.
Van Persie's wife, Bouchra, had previously stated that she and the couple's children were loving life in London, and now the player's mother has had her say.
Mum Jose told The Sun: "Arsenal love him and that's a great incentive to stay. Arsenal are a fantastic club.
"They have no debts and Robin is idolised there."
Van Persie joined Arsenal in May 2004 for a fee of £2.75m.
