Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz reportedly wants to fight for his place at the Bernabeu rather than take up interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Mariano Diaz will reportedly reject any approaches from Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal as he wants to prove himself at Real Madrid.

The North London rivals have both been tipped to make a move for the 25-year-old, who featured 13 times for Madrid in La Liga last season.

Spanish outlet AS suggests that Diaz is not interested in testing himself in English football, though, as he instead intends to fight for regular football at the Bernabeu.

AC Milan and Roma have also previously enquired about the Spanish striker's availability, it is claimed, but a move away is not likely to happen this summer.

Diaz currently wears the number seven top at Madrid, which is said the be the shirt new signing Eden Hazard wants.
