Report: Aston Villa target FC Midtjylland's Paul Onuachu

FC Midtjylland's powerful striker Paul Onuachu is a summer transfer target for Premier League strugglers Aston Villa, according to a report.

Aston Villa are reportedly considering a summer move for FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu.

The 6'7" striker, who is a Nigerian Under-23 international, was on the scoresheet against Manchester United in the Europa League last month, when the Danish club beat the Red Devils 2-1.

According to the Daily Star, the 21-year-old's power and size attracted the attention of Villa, who are already believed to be planning for life in the Championship next season.

Onuachu initially joined Midtjylland on a three-year contract in 2013, but the striker signed a new three-year extension in August 2015.
