Aston Villa confirm that they have completed the season-long loan signing of Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.

Aston Villa have announced that they have completed the season-long loan signing of Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.

The 29-year-old was present at Villa's Championship fixture against Brentford on Wednesday night, but manager Steve Bruce maintained that a deal was far from complete.

However, the West Midlands outfit have now confirmed that they have finalised the temporary transfer of Bolasie for the remainder of the campaign.

The DR Congo international has made 29 appearances in the Premier League over the past two years, with the attacker missing a year of action due to a serious knee injury.

The arrival of Marco Silva resulted in Bolasie dropping down the pecking order, however, and the Toffees have agreed to allow the player to spend the season in the Championship.
