Paris Saint-Germain want Diego Simeone as manager?

Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain want to make Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone their next manager, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly want to appoint Diego Simeone as their next manager.

The 44-year-old has established himself as one of the most respected coaches in European football following his achievements with Atletico Madrid in the past three seasons.

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has stated his hope that the Argentine will remain at the club for at least three more years.

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has reportedly been losing patience with current boss Laurent Blanc and has begun looking for possible replacements for the Frenchman.

The wealthy Ligue 1 club have angered Atletico by making numerous approaches for Simeone, according to The Guardian.

Simeone guided Atletico to their first La Liga title since 1996 last season, plus the final of the Champions League, where they lost in extra time to Real Madrid.
