Preview: Osasuna vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole looks ahead to Atletico Madrid's trip to Osasuna on Sunday.

Atletico Madrid will be looking to keep up their pursuit of the La Liga title when they travel to Osasuna on Sunday.

Diego Simeone's side are joint-top of the standings with 60 points, but sit third behind Real Madrid and Barcelona on goal difference.

They come into this weekend's match in good form, having beaten Real Valladolid last weekend before securing a 1-0 victory over AC Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday.

Osasuna's goalless draw with Elche last week means that they are currently 14th in the table, five points clear of the relegation zone.

Atletico defender Felipe Luis has returned to training this week following injury, but he will not be fit enough to feature, while Tiago and Javier Manquillo will miss out due to injury.

The hosts will have striker Nino available for selection after his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Atletico secured a 2-1 victory at the Estadio Vicente Calderon when the teams last met in September.
