Barcelona are allegedly prepared to meet the release clause of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez in one of the upcoming transfer windows.

Barcelona are allegedly prepared to pay the release clause of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

While the Catalan giants reportedly need to sell players in order to comply with FFP regulations, it has not stopped the club identifying potential long-term replacements for Luis Suarez.

Having scored 13 goals for Inter in all competitions this season, Martinez is said to be on the radar of Barcelona, who want to sign a younger frontman.

According to Diario Sport, Barca are ready to meet Inter's £92.5m release clause if the Italian giants shun their initial interest in the 22-year-old.

However, as it stands, it is unclear whether Martinez is willing to leave San Siro with Inter currently sitting at the top of the Serie A table.
