Barcelona are reportedly ready to re-open talks with the agent of Matthijs de Ligt in a bid to finally complete a deal for the Ajax centre-back following weeks of speculation.
De Ligt's future has been the subject of much discussion, with Barca, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool all linked with the 19-year-old.
PSG are now believed to be the favourites for the Netherlands international as it is understood that the Ligue 1 champions are offering the best pay packet.
However, according to ESPN, Barca will make a final push to land the teenager by re-entering into talks with his agent Mino Raiola.
The Spanish champions are said to have already settled on a transfer fee with Ajax, but personal terms have not yet been agreed.
De Ligt, who helped the Netherlands reach the final of the UEFA Nations League, captained his Dutch side to a league and cup double during the 2018-19 campaign.
The centre-back has already turned out on 117 occasions for the Ajax first team, despite the fact that he will not turn 20 until the start of the new season.
