Stoke City have agreed a deal in principle to sign young Barcelona prospect Moha El Ouriachi, according to the player's agent.
The pacey winger will become the third Camp Nou product to join the Premier League club in the past two years, following the arrivals of Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa.
El Ouriachi, who has represented Spain at youth level in the past, is said to be keen to nail down a first-team spot elsewhere, despite being offered a lucrative contract at Barca.
"We thank Barca for the deal they offered the player and the efforts they have gone to try to renew his contract," Raul Verdu, the 19-year-old's agent, told Catalan newspaper Sport.
"But another proposal was really interesting on both a professional and economic level. Moha has the option of joining the first team squad at Stoke and that was irresistible."
It is likely that Stoke will have to cough up a training compensation fee to Spanish giants Barcelona in order to land El Ouriachi.
