Barnsley manager Keith Hill is in no doubt that his side deserve their 2-0 win over Coventry City.

Barnsley manager Keith Hill was left in no doubt that his side deserved their 2-0 win against Coventry City at Oakwell.

A brace from striker Andy Gray earned the Tykes the three points, and Hill was pleased to see their hard work pay off.

"Do we deserve it? One hundred percent," Hill told the club's official website.

"I've been really pleased with the performances. For the players, because their belief's remained.

"We're getting a bit of a reward. Seven unbeaten in the Championship, going into an international break."

The manager was also delighted with his side's second goal, which was the result of some neat build-up play.

"I don't think it would have been out of place in any league of the world," he added. "It's part of what we're trying to achieve. We've got to make sure we're strong without the ball and easy on the eye with it."

The win has steered Barnsley into 14th place in the Championship table.
