The home side have won their last two league matches, while the away side are winless in four and need to start picking up wins to move out of the relegation zone.

Seeking to claim successive League Two victories for the first time this season, Stockport County travel to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers on Friday night.

The two teams have made underwhelming starts to the new campaign and they are both positioned in the bottom half of the table with seven points from as many matches.

Both teams will be keen to put aside their inconsistent starts to the new season and put together a positive run of form as they aim to climb the table towards the playoff positions.
