Philipp Lahm: 'Bayern Munich were in total control'

Bayern Munich had their Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb "totally under control", according to skipper Philipp Lahm.

Captain Philipp Lahm has said that his Bayern Munich side were in complete control throughout their 5-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League last night.

The Bavarians opened up a 4-0 lead at the break, before Robert Lewandowski scored his third goal of the evening and Bayern's fifth after the restart.

Speaking to the club's official website, Lahm said: "We were focused from the start and because we took our chances, it was over after 30 minutes, we have to be frank about that.

"We had the game totally under control at all times and prevented them getting at us on the break, which was an important factor."

Bayern's next two group games will see them take on Premier League side Arsenal at home and away.
