Jurgen Klopp: 'We have it tougher than Bayern Munich'

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp insists that his team have it harder than Bayern Munich, as sides are already beaten before facing the league leaders.

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that his side have it tougher than their Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, as no team expects to pick up points against the league leaders.

Dortmund fell 12 points behind Bayern after a 2-2 draw against Hoffenheim on Saturday.

According to Klopp, sides who face Pep Guardiola's side often feel as if they have lost before the game, although against his side, they are motivated to beat one of the better teams in the league - making it difficult for Dortmund.

"Sure, people really love Dortmund, but you can still beat them. It's definitely not very comfortable," Klopp told reporters.

"For many opponents, playing against us is the game of the year. Of course they have to play Bayern too, but nobody expects anything against them.

"That is why Bayern are nobody's role model - they're just the league leader. It is somehow cooler that way."

Dortmund face Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga next Saturday.
