Mario Mandzukic has reportedly decided that he would prefer to sign for Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window.
The Croatian is expected to leave Bayern Munich before the start of the next campaign due to a rumoured breakdown in his relationship with head coach Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with moves for the striker, but his intention is to continue playing football in Germany.
According to Die Welt, Mandzukic would welcome interest from Wolfsburg, who sold him to Bayern in the summer of 2012, but a deal is not yet believed to have been agreed between the two clubs.
Mandzukic scored 26 goals in 48 games for Bayern last season.
