Henning Berg targets Blackburn Rovers improvement

Blackburn Rovers manager Henning Berg admits that his side need to improve if they are to consistently pick up results.

Blackburn Rovers manager Henning Berg has admitted that his side need to improve on the "basics" after they suffered successive home defeats.

Rovers lost 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night to condemn Berg to his third defeat in six matches as manager at Ewood Park, but the 43-year-old has insisted that results will soon turn around.

Berg told BBC Radio Lancashire: "What we were missing should not take long to improve because we are talking about basic football things.

"There are things to work on, but at the same time, they are not things that cannot be done quite quickly."

Blackburn are currently in 10th place in the Championship table.
