Neither side could find the net in tonight's Championship match at Bloomfield Road between Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday.
Visiting Wednesday started much the brighter team as, first Jermaine Johnson went close with a pair of efforts and then David Prutton forced Matt Gilks into a full-length save.
Blackpool's best chance of the opening half came in the 28th minute when Thomas Ince went clear through on goal, but he was denied by Chris Kirkland.
The home side went even closer soon after the interval when Kirk Broadfoot's header cannoned off the crossbar.
Late on, Elliot Grandin sent a free kick curling over the wall but Kirkland was alert and able to save comfortably.
Down the other end Chris McGuire forced Gilks into a stop but was unable to break the deadlock as the match finished in a stalemate.
A draw means that both sides remain a point apart, with Blackpool 14th and Wednesday 18th.
