Sports Mole looks ahead to Bolton Wanderers' clash with Middlesbrough in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Bolton Wanderers host Middlesbrough on Saturday looking to move back into the Championship playoff places.

The Trotters' run of three straight wins was halted on Tuesday night at Leicester City, with their victors moving back above them in the table.

Middlesbrough are probably too far away to force themselves back into top-six contention after their run of seven games without a win was finally ended with a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.

Bolton's hopes will not be helped by the loss of both Jay Spearing and David Ngog, with the latter out for the remainder of the season. Marvin Sordell or Craig Davies are the option to step in for Ngog.

Jonathan Woodgate and Merouane Zemmama are doubtful for Boro, with the game also probably coming too early for the return of David Wheater.
