Erling Braut Haaland has a clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract which will allow the striker to force a move away in 2022, according to a report.

Erling Braut Haaland reportedly has a clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract which will allow the striker to force a move away from the club if he wishes in 2022.

The 19-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United before agreeing to join Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg, where he scored 28 times in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign.

United were allegedly unwilling to meet the various terms proposed by Haaland's agent Mino Raiola, who also acts for unsettled midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to Sport Bild, there is a clause in the teenager's contract which means that he would be able to force an exit at the end of the 2021-22 campaign without BVB being able to prevent it.

The report notes that Mario Gotze had a similar agreement in his contract at Signal Iduna Park, with the German moving to Bayern Munich in 2016.

Haaland, who could make his Bundesliga debut for BVB against Augsburg on January 18, will see his current deal run until the summer of 2024.
