Italian champions Juventus have reportedly made contact with Borussia Dortmund regarding the availability of their striker Robert Lewandowski.
Over the past few days the Polish international is said to have emerged as Juve's number one transfer target as they aim to bolster their attacking options.
They made their interest known with a fax to their German counterparts and now await a response, according to Goal.com.
The 24-year-old's current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2014.
With that in mind, Juve are said to believe that a bid in the region of £20m could secure Lewandowski's services.
