Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has penned a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the Championship club.
The 25-year-old has made over 150 appearances for the Cherries since he joined from Woking in 2010.
Arter was named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for December after scoring five goals in five games.
"The manager has made it perfectly clear that he wants to keep the squad together and improve it and this is another huge statement of intent by the club," chief executive Neil Blake told the Daily Echo.
"Harry can be a big player for us as we look to progress and his decision to sign a new contract shows he has faith in the club's ambition."
Arter has found the net six times in 28 games so far this season.
