Everton 'agree fee for Bournemouth's Joshua King'

Everton reportedly agree a fee in the region of £5m to £6m with Bournemouth for striker Joshua King, who is keen to complete a move to Goodison Park.

Everton have reportedly reached an agreement with Bournemouth over the transfer of striker Joshua King.

With the Norwegian's contract at the Championship club due to run out in six months' time, Bournemouth are supposedly hoping to recoup a fee now rather than see him leave for nothing in the summer.

Fulham and Southampton were also believed to have been in the chase for King, but Everton are said to have stolen a march on their rivals ahead of Monday's 11pm deadline.

According to Football Insider, a fee between Everton and Bournemouth - believed to be in the region of £5m to £6m - has now been agreed between the two parties.

The report adds that the 29-year-old is already discussing personal terms with the Toffees, who are now facing a race against time to complete a deal within the next couple of hours.

King is yet to register a goal or assist in 12 Championship appearances for Bournemouth this term, and his proposed move to Everton comes after out-of-favour striker Cenk Tosun returned to his native Turkey on loan with Besiktas.
