Chelsea predicted XI vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers: Starting lineup as Enzo Maresca faces doubt over Cole Palmer

Will Palmer be ready for Wolves? How Blues could line up on Monday night

Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up for Monday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca will hope that his team can get back on track when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Monday night, though he will be sweating on the fitness of a number of key players.

Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is likely to start given he has appeared between the posts in his side's last two league fixtures.

In defence, the Blues will certainly be without centre-backs Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana, with the pair not scheduled to return from injury until February and May respectively.

Defender Levi Colwill's inclusion is doubtful, but there is a chance that he could make the XI, and he may play alongside Trevor Chalobah if declared fit.

Midfielder Moises Caicedo has performed brilliantly this campaign, and he could be joined in the middle of the pitch by Enzo Fernandez, although Romeo Lavia is a doubt.

Star attacker Cole Palmer is at risk of missing out due to an ankle knock, but it is difficult to see how Chelsea would cope without his influence in the final third, so it would not be surprising if the Englishman is risked.

Noni Madueke scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture on August 25 last year, and he may be joined in the forward line by winger Jadon Sancho and striker Nicolas Jackson.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Madueke, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson
