Half-Time Report: Harry Bunn cancels out Chris Long strike

Harry Bunn gets Huddersfield Town back on level terms after Chris Long gives Brentford an early lead in the Championship.

Huddersfield Town recovered from falling behind inside the opening five minutes to head into half time level at 1-1 with Brentford at Griffin Park in the Championship this evening.

The home side were ahead just four minutes into the tie when Chris Long slotted the ball into the bottom corner after Jonathan Douglas had picked him out on the edge of the box.

Douglas had a chance to double the lead himself a few minutes later when Long set him up with a through-ball, but his effort was straight at Alex Smithies.

The home side continued to see the majority of the ball, but Huddersfield got back on level terms midway through the opening period when Harry Bunn picked up the ball from James Vaughan before charging past the last defender to slot it into the back of the net.

Alex Pritchard came closest to restoring Brentford's advantage before the break, but he blasted the ball wide, while the home side struggled to create many more chances despite dominating possession.
