Brentford have strengthened their squad ahead of the new campaign with the signing of midfielder Kamo Mokotjo.
The 26-year-old has spent the last three seasons at FC Twente, and he made 33 appearances in the Eredivisie as they finished in seventh place in the table during the most recent campaign.
However, after Brentford showed an interest in his signature, he has opted to make the move to England for an undisclosed fee.
Brentford boss Dean Smith told the club's official website: "I am pleased that we have been able to add Kamo to our group now he has become available. He is a player that we have been looking at for a while and we are sure he will fit into the system and style that we have here.
"Kamo is a defensive midfielder who can break play up, cover a lot of ground and use the ball intelligently. He is a player that will certainly add to the qualities we already have within the squad."
Mokotjo - who has represented South Africa on the international stage - has penned a three-year contract at Griffin Park.
