Millwall ran out comfortable 3-1 winners over Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon.
Millwall began the better of the two sides, with Paul Robinson's header cleared off the line by Marvin Bartley on 13 minutes.
It was the away side who struck first with 15 minutes on the clock. An error from Burnley's David Edgar let Andy Keogh in and the midfielder make no mistake from 12 yards out.
Millwall then grabbed their second goal on 30 minutes through Josh Wright. The central midfielder fizzed the ball into the back of the net from 30 yards out.
Burnley came close to clawing a goal back on 53 minutes when Ross Wallace's free kick was nearly put into the back of the net by Martin Paterson.
Millwall looked to have wrapped up the game on 70 minutes after Harry Kane caught the Burnley back line cold and expertly finished.
Bartley fouled Shane Lowry in injury time to give the home side a late penalty, which Jay Rodriguez put away.
The goal was a mere consolation for Burnley as the game ended in a 3-1 victory for Millwall.
