Malky Mackay has said that Cardiff City are eager to bounce back against Burnley after losing 3-0 to Hull City on Tuesday night.
Cardiff can move as high as fourth place with a win at home over Eddie Howe's Clarets side this afternoon, but the Bluebirds boss admits that he is concerned with the club's congested fixture list.
"It's good for us that we've got another game in which we can bounce back," he said. "That's positive, but there are downsides.
"We've been in something like ten games more than some of the other sides around us in the division at the moment. This has been a tough period for us.
"It's important to keep the lads as fresh as possible. I've got good staff who do their best to ensure that that's possible."
Cardiff are currently in ninth place in the Championship, nine points ahead of opponents Burnley.
