Team News: Kevin Doyle starts for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Carlisle United

Kevin Doyle retains his place for Wolverhampton Wanderers as they visit Carlisle United in League One this evening.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have decided to stick with striker Kevin Doyle for their trip to Carlisle United in League One this evening, with the in-form attacker having scored at the weekend.

The visitors have also brought back the services of David Davis who takes the place of Bjorn Sigurdarson, while Wolves have also kept with their trusted midfield partnership of Bakary Sako and Lee Evans.

The home side are without Lee Miller who is serving a four-match ban having picked up two red cards already this season, while Conor Townsend comes back into Carlisle's starting XI after serving a suspension.

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Pascal Chimbonda features in defence, as does QPR loanee Max Ehmer, who is at the club until December.

Carlisle United: Gillespie; Chimbonda, Ehmer, O'Hanlon, Townsend; Thirlwell, Noble, Buaben, Amoo; Guy, Robson

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Ikeme; Golbourne, Batth, Stearman, Ricketts; Sako, Evans, Davis, Henry; Doyle, Griffiths
