Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is weighing up a bid for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama, according to the Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old has impressed in Scotland after arriving from Germinal Beerschot last summer and Magpies head scout Graham Carr has formed a glowing report on the Kenyan.
HOwever, Wanyama has admitted that he is enjoying his time at Celtic.
"The fans have shown very good support to us and myself. They are always behind us and I am very happy to have fans like that," Wanyama told Celtic View.
"I want to give it my all for them so they are happy. If we keep our good form going, we will have a good chance because our confidence will be high."
Wanyama has scored one goal in 13 league appearances for Celtic this season.
