Half-Time Report: Bournemouth lead unbeaten Charlton Athletic

Bournemouth hold a 1-0 advantage over unbeaten Charlton Athletic at half time.

Bournemouth lead unbeaten Charlton Athletic 1-0 at half time in their Championship clash at the Goldsands Stadium.

Eddie Howe's side flew out of the blocks and could have been ahead inside the opening two minutes, but Stephen Henderson was able to claw away Matt Ritchie's strike.

However, the home side did take the lead 60 seconds later when Callum Wilson applied the finish to Marc Pugh's cross from close range.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson came close to restoring parity on 22 minutes but his powerful strike was well saved by Artur Boruc.

Two minutes later Brett Pitman fed Wilson, but the striker could only fire wide from a tight angle.
