Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella admits he was pleased to earn a point away to Chelsea in the Champions League.

Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella has said that he is pleased that his team managed to pick up a point at Chelsea in the Champions League this evening.

The Italian giants came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, with the 29-year-old stealing an equaliser 10 minutes from time.

"Considering the way the game was going, this is a very important result for us against the reigning champions," said Quagliarella.

"It was a tough game. I was called upon and hoped to have a few chances to score. I took one and went close with another by hitting the bar. I gave my all."

A first-half brace by Oscar on his competition debut put the Blues 2-0 up, before the Old Lady struck back with goals from Arturo Vidal and Quagliarella.
