Chelsea will be aiming to regain some confidence when they welcome Championship side Barnsley to Stamford Bridge for Wednesday's EFL Cup third-round clash.
The Blues began their Premier League season with a 3-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, but Frank Lampard soon witnessed his side be put to the sword by champions Liverpool upon their return to familiar territory at the weekend.
As Chelsea gear up for their first cup game of the new campaign, Lampard will no doubt be hoping to record a convincing victory over Barnsley as the Blues look to build up some momentum heading into the winter months.
However, the Blues manager was still without a number of players against Liverpool, and here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the midweek showdown with Barnsley.
